About

Why The Cherry Tree exists.

Most marketing partners pick one lane — strategy, execution, or measurement. We do all three, because the gaps between them are where budget goes to die.

Why we exist

The most expensive thing in marketing is lost context.

Modern marketing is full of specialists who don’t talk to each other. The strategist hands a deck to the media buyer. The media buyer ships campaigns the analyst can’t measure cleanly. The analyst writes a report nobody reads. By the time anything reaches the CFO, the trail is cold.

We started The Cherry Tree because we believe the most expensive thing in a marketing org isn’t ad spend — it’s the loss of context between the teams that plan, run, and measure. AI changes the economics of closing those gaps. A loop that used to take a quarter now takes a week.

So we built a partner that operates the whole loop. Plan it, run it, measure it — under one roof, with AI doing the connective tissue.

How we work

Three principles. Non-negotiable.

01. Show the work, not the slogan

Every claim about AI in our work comes with a specific example: which model, which input, which decision it changed. If we can’t tell you exactly where AI showed up, we didn’t actually use it.

02. Outcomes over outputs

We don’t measure ourselves by deliverables shipped or campaigns launched. We measure ourselves by the metric your CFO cares about — CAC, ROAS, payback, pipeline — and we tell you directly when it’s not moving.

03. Tell you when we’re not the right fit

We turn down work. If your stage, channels, or constraints don’t match what we do well, we’ll say so on the discovery call. The two-month engagement that produces nothing is bad for both of us.

What we believe

Five opinions, plainly held.

  • Last-click attribution is a tax on your best channels. Most accounts overspend on the cheapest channel and underspend on the channel that actually converts.
  • More creative beats better creative. Volume + iteration outperforms the slow pursuit of one perfect ad.
  • AI without specifics is a buzzword. “AI-powered” means nothing if you can’t name the model, the input, and the decision.
  • The dashboard is not the deliverable. Reports get read; dashboards get bookmarked and forgotten.
  • A good plan you’ll actually execute beats a perfect plan you won’t.
